A woman escapes from a mental hospital as the institution goes up in flames. The Rho Psi Chi Fraternity house, nicknamed Crossbones, also goes up into flames. This time a man and a woman are founded dead at the site and it is discovered that a bomb is responsible for the crime. Is there some connection between the two incidents? The dead man appears to be the janitor but seems to have had no reason to be in the house that fateful night. The same is true of the woman, a sister of a local professor. Were either of these individuals the perpetrators of this crime?

Fraternity is a roller coater ride of action and guessing games. From the very start, I was sucked in trying to understand how the mental patient and the fraternity house explosion were related. To complicate matters, the author added a few characters whose only purpose seemed to be added to the list of murdered. Trying to figure out how each of these individuals fit into the mix kept me reading. I have to say I was satisfied with the end result, everything was tied together nicely.
