Ghostly Possession
Teresa Wayne
Silk's Vault Publishing
Fiction, Erotic Romance, Paranormal
Reviewed By Robyn Ashford

Captain Nathaniel Yearling is an angry spirit out to hurt anyone within his reach. The man made his fortune as a torturous slave trader in life and in death hangs as not quite dead or alive through a voodoo curse. His main object of his anger is his descendent Sydney Yearling but her savoir comes in the form of a stranger, a man by the name of Jeffrey Dillion. The writer, for The Paranormal Times, accidentally comes into Sydney’s life as a patient in the ER where the woman serves as a nurse. With his help, Sydney learns some very disturbing news about her ancestors.

I felt that Ghostly Possession had two great plots (the haunting and the love story) but that they didn’t necessarily mesh well together into one storyline. The haunting part seemed to overpower the romance and the haunting took away from the romance as it was just creepy and somewhat nasty.
