This is a fascinating book.  It gives you a deep look at the inner teachings and beliefs of Islam. This book is a collection of remedies, cures and preventions for being bewitched by witchcraft or sorcery. The remedies for health consist of various herbs and fruits such as:  dates, honey, olive oil, and black caraway seed.  The author claims to take these daily for health and removal of spells.  The author teaches about the true nature of Angels, Jinn, Witches, and Warlocks.  It also describes how to identify if someone is possessed.   I must confess that reading this part of the book made me feel like I had journeyed back to the dark ages.

The rest of the book contains various recitations of the holy book the Quran.  These recitations are supposed to help prevent spells, sorcery, the evil eye, and keep evil from befalling you.  I was quite delighted that the author includes a website with mp3 audio files.  These teach you how to pronounce the various verses from the Quran.  There is one file that is two hours long that is supposed to rid your home or any area where it is played of haunting and demons.  I found the audio files to be simply beautiful to listen to.  The advice for a healthy diet is very sound and is similar to many vegetarian diets.

Overall, I found the book to be fascinating.  I do not agree with many of its statements made within the book, however, it is an excellent book for anyone who is interested in learning more about Islam, becoming Muslim, or wanting to further their interest in the Muslim faith.  I am not sure about the claims made to remove evil from yourself or home with these verses, however, if it makes you feel more at ease to use them, then that has accomplished something.  They are used similar to Mantras in Buddhism.  The audio files are gorgeous and something I would love to play just to hear them.  Overall, a fascinating read.
