Hunter McCallum’s jaw dropped to the floor in astonishment as the commissioner informed him he needed to postpone his wedding. Children and infants were being kidnapped. The common elements in each case were that the children were taken from their homes, windows and doors were locked, and a parent was present and heard nothing. The children simply vanished with no sounds, sign of entry or burglary. If that was not enough, two-ton church bells were disappearing from churches across the city.

The main thing that these cases had in common was that no one saw or heard anything. There were no clues left at any of the crime scenes. They simply disappeared. Hunter was the leader of Non-Human Protection team. They were called in to investigate any paranormal activity that might be involved in the cases. To make things even more interesting Hunter is a wulf, a shape shifter than can shift into wolf form at will.

I simply could not put this book down. I read it cover to cover. It is a bi-racial story that centers on the romantic involvement of Hunter and Melody. Hunter the Alpha Male binds Melody as his mate and they are considered married to their den mates. Melody however, wants a conventional wedding to appease her human relatives. The two embark on a mission to solve the cases, and still have time to plan their wedding. This is a powerhouse book of sensuality, mystery, old-fashioned romance, a heavy dose of humor, and steamy sex scenes that will keep you riveted to the page. This is not your conventional shape shifter story. The characters are intelligent, witty, real, and leap off the page. You begin to believe in the true possibility of fairies and that your neighbors could be shifters, vampires, or other things that normally go bump in the night.
