As son of a member of the secret society of Templars, Bret de Colville has dreamed of becoming a Templar Knight as long as he can remember. Bret is a knight for Robert de Brus and the direct descendent of King David and Solomon. He is also the heir apparent of the secret knowledge of Solomon handed down from generation to generation.

Bret understands the sacrifices that must be made as a Templar. He must not marry and he will never have a family. However, Bret starts to question his decisions when he meets Zarelda. Zarelda’s breath-taking seductive beauty extinguishes all logical thought and reasonable action in the young knight. The woman holds such power over Bret that she could threaten to take away everything that Bret loves and all his dreams.

A Witch Spell is the first book of The Templar Knight Series. This book lays out the foundation of the series of stories to follow. Characters and the beginnings of conflict are addressed leading the reader to understand the who, why, where, and how of the current situation. Many of these characters are very strong and intriguing. In particular, Bret’s wizard advisor Alpin, holder of great magical knowledge and a master of time travel, adds some mystery and magic to the storyline. Zarelda is also an extremely good villain- never under estimate the power of a woman scorn as they say.
