Adobe InDesign CS2 is an extraordinary graphic package but a bit daunting on first inspection. Indiano comes to the aid of even the beginner, which I am, and takes the user step by step through practical applications of the software. From basic uses, such as business cards, letterheads, and envelopes she gives step by step instructions to CD covers and tee shirts. The tips boxes throughout the book give invaluable and potentially cost saving considerations that will save the user a great deal of time and frustration.

Files used in the exercises in the book are downloaded from the internet. They can be downloaded individually which is a blessing for dial up users, or as a complete set. I found this book invaluable for learning the basics of a wonderful program and will be using it for a long time to come.
