Pete Land lives life hard and fast. His work with in the record company industry allows him to experience the best cheap hotels, copious amounts of alcohol, and the loosest waitresses on the planet. Pete’s not necessarily the kind of guy you’d want to come to your elegant high fashion gala event but he knows how to party and always seems to find another cheap woman.
Sprawlism is an interesting look at the seedier side of the music business. Pete Land is a pretty interesting character, kind of like that cousin or uncle that crashes all the family reunions with some floozy and somehow ends up puking on great aunt Mavis. You can’t really hate the guy, he’s kind of cool and makes things much more entertaining. But you definitely don’t want to invite him back to the next family reunion.
