The past few years I have struggled to find the right curriculum to meet each of my children’s unique learning styles. I have spent hundreds of dollars on curriculums that have promised to have excellent content, only to find that they simply do not fit my children’s needs or live up to my expectations. The high cost of curriculum material at times has come really close to breaking my budget. I was so relieved when I found the Robinson Self-teaching Curriculum. The total price for twelve years of educational material on 22 CD’s is $195.00.
I simply could not believe that I could gain a quality education for my children so inexpensively; after having in the past, spent sums that far exceeded this each year for other curriculums for one child. I admit I was skeptical because I had recently purchased another curriculum that exceeded my budget, which failed miserably.
I am very impressed by all of the content of this curriculum, the children are reading wonderful literature, and my son’s grammar lessons are geared to the books he is currently reading. I have been so impressed with the curriculum, being a college student myself, I have found my own skills highly lacking in several areas and have started using this curriculum myself to brush up on my science and grammar. This has truly been a Godsend for my family and me and it has taken all of the frustration out of the home schooling experience. It leaves me with time to teach my youngest son who needs far more hands on help, and my older son pretty much does all his work on his own each day, with minimal guidance. This is the first curriculum I have used that I really believe backs up what promise.
