This book is a beginner book that teaches you the basics of wood working through progressive projects. The book set up so that a complete beginner can start out with simple projects like a Wooden Box and build up their skills and knowledge with each project. By the end of the book you can have the skill and confidence to tackle a beautiful coffee table, an indoor or outdoor chair, or bookcase. The main downside of this book is that it does require quite a bit of equipment to start out with. It is perfect for someone who wants to make woodworking a serious hobby. It has gorgeous photographs, and detailed plans that will help you make every project a success that you will love to use and display to your family and friends. I love the progressive nature of this book, it really is a way to build you skills and confidence while allowing the beginner to dive in and actually begin working with the wood.
