Faith & Fairies

Fiction, Young Adult, Fantasy
Reviewed by Dr. Tami Brady

Faith & Fairies begins with Grandpa Charles as he is taking three young boys (Terry, Scott, and Ronnie) to their new home at Haviland Manor Orphanage. As the old man rambles on about fantastical adventures that he and his buddies had shared, Terry is planning his getaway. The boy is tired of being moved from one home to home where no one seems to care about him.

When Grandpa Charles leaves the boys unattended at the convenience store, Terry sees his chance to escape and steals the car. Scott and Ronnie are still fast asleep in the back of the car until Terry drives the car into a sinkhole. Now the real adventure begins.

Faith & Fairies is a sweet fantasy story filled with wonder, magic, and fairies. There is also a good deal of action and adventure. Kissing as a healing method for fairies, quite an interesting concept.
