In a Land of Change is the second book in the Hatred Blooms series. The adventure continues where the first one ended. Veronica and Tommy are safely out of the Slipping of Dimensions, a hell-like alternative world controlled by the wicked harpy Vera.

Unfortunately, Hatred Blooms and all its inhabitants are not yet safe. Laura, the creator’s wife has been poisoned. Her only hope is Vera, who draws the creator, Luke, into the Slipping. Tommy follows hoping he can end the terror once and for all.

In doing so, Tommy leaves Veronica stranded without any way to get back into Hatred Blooms or the Slipping. Where there is a will there is a way and Veronica manages to find an alternative route. In the process, she also discovers another land which is opposite to Hatred Blooms in virtually every way.
