BPA, LEED, PHEVs: do you ever get overwhelmed by all the acronyms that accompany living a green life? Well, fear no more because the self proclaimed “lazy environmentalist”, Josh Dorfman, presents his new book, The Lazy Environmentalist on a Budget and has done all the leg work to pilot you to an eco-friendly life.
Just pick the area in your life that you’d like to green up, say the yard, kitchen or your kid, and then easily reference one of the twelve information packed chapters on the subject. Dorfman wrote a well-organized and concise guide for 21st century living that is accented with useful and interesting websites for further information and product purchasing. Everything from vitamin C rich mascara to wooden toddler toys and even natural hand sanitizer are included. I consider myself a seasoned environmentalist but Dorfman educated me on some new products and technology.
This is not one of those books intended to scare you into change- making you want to fast and never clean again. Dorfman is realistic and practical about the green movement and hooks people based on the pure and simple ease and affordability with which he demonstrates “going green”. I look forward to keeping up with the author at the lazyenvironmentalist.com and eagerly anticipate his future books!
