At first glance, Tenerife sounds like a vacation paradise. Who wouldn’t want to visit a breathtaking isle nestled in the Canary Islands? But you’ve never been to a place like this. No tales of sunbathing. No cold drinks served while enjoying the warm weather. It would seem that Tenerife has a few secrets.

Tenerife: Tall Tales with a Twist in the Tail is a collection of witty, ironic, and hilarious short stories. The theme of the stories varies substantially. For instance, one excerpt shows the micro-Jurassic side of this place. Like Jurassic Park, real dinosaurs are the main attraction at its park. Only here the extinct animals are tiny. The main character of another piece is a lizard, unlike any other on the island, this one talks. Aliens and the paranormal are explored in other tales. The only thing they all of these stories have in common is that they take place in or near Tenerife.
