Seventeen year old Caitlin Neuman lost her parents and twin sister in a tragic car accident ten years ago. She begins experiencing horrible nightmares about a car accident but not the car accident her family was in. Caitlin was also in the car at the time of the accident and was the sole survivor of the crash.

Caitlin seeks out the one person she knows can help her solve the mystery of her horrible nightmares; retired Baltimore detective and next door neighbor Paco LeSoto. Paco LeSoto is a retired detective from the Baltimore Police force but continues to work part-time as an inspector. Paco with his keen ability to solve mysteries and his wife Molly with her skewed language and shrewd cleverness agree to help Caitlin solve the mystery of her nightmares.

As the mystery deepens they cross paths with newlyweds Newton Boston and his wife Delylah. It is soon discovered that Delylah has been widowed four times and this is news to her current husband Newton. When tragedy befalls the Boston family all clues point to murder. After solving a case of mistaken identity it's now up to Paco, Molly, and Caitlin to uncover the clues to murder and bring this killer to justice before they strike again.
