The Cake Thief

The Cake Thief
Sally O. Lee
Book Surge
ISBN: 978141963978
Fiction, Children’s Picture Book
Reviewed by Dr. Tami Brady

Clarence lived all alone at the top of a hill. He didn’t have any friends and never talked to anyone. For the most part, Clarence stayed away from other people. That is, except for certain instances when Clarence went into town and stole the cakes from people’s houses. He’d just go in, find the cake platter, and take the cake without permission. Then, go back to his house.

Everyone in the town knew that Clarence was the cake thief. However, no one really did anything to stop him. I think that they knew he was lonely. Then, one day something happened, something that would change everything

The Cake Thief is a fun story with a nice moral about compassion.
