Sophia Roberts had been the dedicated wife and mother. Her entire life had completely revolved around caring for others and trying to make them happy. Now that both her children were in college, Sophia felt that she could finally spend more time with her husband and start to enjoy life.

Well, her prediction was partly true. Just as it seemed the children no longer needed her, her husband didn’t seem to want her either. It would seem that he preferred to spend his time with a girl almost the same age as his children.  To make matters worse, Sophia was fired from her job a week before her fiftieth birthday.

Then, the universe stepped in. Angry, confused, and without any direction, Sophia was called to a new beginning. She was challenged to let go of her emotional baggage and renew her creative spirit.

I absolutely adored Divine Diva. Having begun my own journey to uncover my own Diva power, I saw myself in Sophia. I felt her pain as my own and it helped me let go of some of my own baggage. Now, I feel empowered.
