Questions is a collection of poems and thoughts by the author. These works were written to illustrate the need to ask questions of oursleves both in order to heal and to completely live life. That these deep meaningful works were written by a young person starting at age sixteen is awe inspiring. To have that kind of raw talent and ability at that age is simply amazing.

I think that during our young adult years, we all start to look at ourselves and who we want to be. During this important growth period, our emotions bounce around like crazy and our questions seem endless. In asking these questions, however, we gain great insights into ourselves, who we are, who we want to be, and how we want to live our life.

Some of my favorite pieces in this book include:

“When you adore, time is irrelevant.
When you like, that’s the problem.”

“Words? Silence? Actions?
What is stronger, what is more powerful?
With words come misunderstanding
& bluntness
With silence comes honesty and reality
And
With action comes the truth?
Take your pick. U decide. Which one is thick”

“With knowledge, your truth will change.”
