How to Read the Aura
W.E. Butler
Destiny Books
ISBN: 0-892181-705-4
Non-Fiction, New Age, Occult
Reviewed by Dr. Tami Brady

What could you learn if you could communicate with the other side? What message would you send if you could send your thoughts across great distances? How would your life change if you could see by a person’s aura if they are sincere or not?

How to Read the Aura is a very detailed beginner’s guide to psychometric, telepathy, and clairvoyance. This books looks not only at the definition and practice of each of these psychic aspects but also reaches deeper to explain the variations, specific exercises to build these skills, and the ethical implications surrounding each practice. It is an extremely useful read, especially for the beginner.

One thing to note about this book is that it was originally published in 1978. The text retains this 70s feel, explaining each concept as if it were the first time the reader has come across these notions. For those new to psychometric, telepathy, and clairvoyance or those individuals looking to build a very solid foundational knowledge of this work, this will be a valuable title to read. For other interested individuals, the information contained in this book will be very good reference material also containing some good practical exercises.
