Shana Dobbs just wants to forget her cheating ex husband Earl Boykins. After dealing with him for four years, she wants a new style for a new beginning. Determined to get rid of the old and welcome in the new, she plans to celebrate her new status at the weekend cottage. For the first time, she will be visiting without Earl. Hoping that the memories of their honeymoon will not come flooding back, she is resolved to carrying through with her plan. After a new hair style from her dear friend Ty James, and excited for her adventure, she relaxes in the cottage. Before she knows it, an unexpected guest in the form of a hot and handsome hunk named Evan shows up on her doorstep. Also confirmed to spend the weekend, both Evan and Shana realize that together they have to come up with some sort of arrangement. Aiming so that neither one has their plans of a carefree weekend spoiled, little do they know that the best solution is for them to stay right where they are.
This quite short, yet extremely steamy, story will provide you the perfect escape. The plot was delightfully enticing with compelling characters that the reader could relate to. One must applaud Ms. Ward for packing such a powerful punch!
