What I like about Chew On Things- It Helps You Think is that there are a number of quotes, but also personal notes. I love the pictures of Casey as a puppy and then as he grows bigger. Still just as cute and understandable as ever. Casey shows you that worrying doesn’t help. Life will always have hurdles you have to jump. And when you are lucky you’ll have friends and family there to help you cross them. When Casey says not to eat your way through them that sounds like a personal experience to me. My all time favorite picture of Casey is when he’s with the pig. The catch phrase is also try to play well everyone. “I’m warm and fuzzy and play a lot. He’s a pig. Need I say more?” He might be a puppy but he understands that everyone deserves a fair chance even if they are different. To Casey a pig is just another creature to try to get to play with him. Sometimes in life new things can be scary, but like it says in the book approach with caution but approach. Chew on things is a book you should read when you need some inspiration and to remind you that all you can do is go with the flow of life.
