Since the death of her husband, C.C. (Cassandra) Bianco has been trying to focus most of her time on her daughter Gloria. Feeling that she needs to look like she wants to have a life outside of playing Barbies, the twenty-nine year old widow half-heartedly starts a private investigation business on the side. In an effort to keep her private and public life separate Cassandra the name Cassie Masters, her maiden name, to conduct business. She also forces any potential clients to pay exorbitant rates and keeps an extremely low profile in order to thwart the majority of interested clients.
Unfortunately, Cassie’s reputation precedes her. Potential clients know that she is worth the money and worth the effort to convince her to take their case. This private investigator has a talent for insight and her ability to solve even the most difficult case is truly amazing. Nonetheless, Cassie’s latest client, Eleanor Moorehouse, might have a case that even Cassie can’t solve. Eleanor is the only suspect in the death of her husband, a wealthy well respected doctor with too many secrets.
Too Many Secrets is a who done it that keeps you guessing until the end. The author carefully peels the layers off the seeming perfect man to gradually reveal a much different version of the man and the secrets he held that would ultimately lead to his death. She then adds a string dose of realism with a light touch of humour to create a complexly interwoven thrilling novel.
