If you’ve ever wondered when to use who or whom or debated about whether to use that or which, you’ll truly appreciate The Grammar Cookbook by Pat Bensky. The book is arranged into five helpful sections and contains an index as well, making it equally useful for looking up answers to specific questions, or simply browsing. Each topic contains one or more pairs of correct and incorrect examples of the word or rule in question and a short explanation, as well as addressing the differences between US and UK usage when applicable.
I truly enjoyed just flipping through this book and reading the entries. In addition, I found that the format made answers very easy to find, and that the information is clearly worded and well-illustrated. This is a fantastic resource book, and one that I believe would be beneficial to any household.
