With the new Microsoft Office 2007 suite of programs promising so many new and exciting additions, one can only get ready for the fun to begin. So, what better way to get prepared than in these innovative yet easy to understand guidebooks? Presented in such a way that you can’t help but absorb the information, all audiences from students to working professionals will be able to learn these great tools. Additionally, as Microsoft Office 2007 programs are designed to run on both Microsoft Windows, XP Service Pack 2 or later, and Windows Vista, these new resources are there to answer every question.
I found this book to be incredible in containing everything that you could possibly imagine, and in easy to understand language. While covering the basics, all the extras were also mentioned. Therefore, my favorite tidbits were the author’s wise words on
creating, saving, setting up, running, and printing a bullets-and-background slideshow to the world of multimedia, animation, and interactivity. In addition, I learned fabulous ways on how to add pictures, sound, video, animated effects, and controls, along with ways to pull text, spreadsheets, and animations created in other programs. True to the author’s word, this was not only an educational but entertaining book that at the end of the day worked and didn’t add to my frustration with technology. Therefore, I would highly recommend the Missing Manual series to sort out all your worries.
