Cassie Teller always knows a good time when she sees it. Fortunately her first love and ex Steve is just the guy to satisfy the itch. Although he thinks that his current flame Mandy is the one for him, Cassie begins to wonder as he begins to show more and more emotion for her. While the questions begin to flow between both of them, along with the great physical connection, Cassie decides to forget it all momentarily to enjoy tickets to her favorite team’s football team. Through a twist of fate and chance meetings, she ends up meeting the hunky Corby Teller, the hot quarterback of the enemy team. From the first glance he is enticed by Cassie, and as the feeling is mutual, things move quickly forward. As time goes on, Cassie can not figure out if it is Steve that she needs to be with, or whether it is Corby who can show her the life that she has always dreamed of.
This was a wonderfully refreshing modern tale to the trials and tribulations of love and sex and what it all boils down to. Cassie represents a strongly independent woman who knows what she wants and even more on how to get it. Corby is exactly the type of man she desires and while she may still have feelings for Steve, one can see how she did precisely what she needed to do; get over him and get on with life. A true delight to read, I can not wait to see Ms. Blaine’s next story.
