Amanda just can’t believe how bad her luck is going. After being told she will not be promoted into a position she was sure to be, she manages to pass out in a drunken stupor on her bed when all she wanted to do was to seduce the sexy stripper her friends had hired for her party. Upon waking with the hangover from hell, her luck gets even better when she learns that the person who was hired for the job was the attractive dancer from the night before!
Jake feels like he has ran straight into a brick building when he spies the beautiful woman from last night. Already nervous in starting out a new life in a new job and city for him and his daughter Jessica, the last thing he expected was to have such an interestingly embarrassing first day. With the memory of his downright stupid stripping adventure facing him on a daily basis, coupled with an undeniable attraction to the enticing Amanda, he has no idea of what fate has in store for him.
In this book Ms. Stapleton presents a wonderful balance between the trials and tribulations of a modern day romance. Filled with humorous moments and passionate chemistry, one can find a little bit of everything. The characters are delightfully entertaining and with the action surrounding the pursuit of true happiness and love, I found it near impossible to put down. Well done Ms. Stapleton; I’m already looking forward to reading your next work!
