Victoria Lord has never met a man more irritating. The normally put together lawyer sits in a jail cell with a contempt of court ruling all because of Steve Solomon, his taunting, and his ability to get her hopping mad. How dare he give her advice about how to become a better lawyer when he can’t keep himself out of jail. A strange twist of fate, one very bizarre murder trial, one custody battle, and a new outlook will either destroy Victoria’s career or give her the life she’s always wanted. One thing is for sure, Victoria’s life is never going to be the same.

Solomon vs. Lord contains a number of sub-stories and mini-plots that add to the brilliance and depth of the main story. The events surrounding the murder trial are downright hilarious yet the characters have to build a case out of almost no evidence which creates a lot of tension and frustration. The side story about Steve’s nephew is touching and inspirational despite it’s horrific nature showing a side that no one would have guessed that Steve Solomon could possess. Victoria has her own stories and her own issues particularly with her vegetable obsessed fiancée.
