Loose Id, an erotic e-book publisher, has a product line they refer to as “flings.” These are short stories written by their established novelists. Clean Cure by Desiree Erotique is one of these flings. It’s a 31-page (counting copyright and title page) story about bondage, discipline and love.
The protagonist of the story is Colleen, a young lady whose husband Nolan ships off to Afghanistan with the Army. I should mention that, as a Navy man myself, I’ve seen deployments like this wreck marriages. But Colleen is true to her man, and her man is true to her, so when Nolan’s tour is up (and the story starts) the two promptly get back together.
Unfortunately for Colleen, being forced to deal with modern life without Nolan has left her a little more, independent, then Nolan would like. She’s also developed a bit of a tart tongue. Nolan has a solution for that, involving a firm hand and some soap (I did say this was a bondage story) and quickly re-educates Colleen.
Desiree has created an enjoyable romp, which is light and very readable. The “ideals”of BDSM aren’t allowed to get in the way of the sex, which is both vigorous and often, and everybody (most especially her characters) get a kick out of this little gem.
