In this humorous yet somehow factual book, Ms. Lewis brings together powerful and motivating examples of women rising on the corporate climb. Based on her personal experience at a variety of roles coupled with her substantial experience of delivering workshops and seminars on this serious topic, she shares some of her tried and tested ways of getting on the right path. She confronts the most common challenges facing
professional women today while encouraging new areas to be explored.
Along this journey, she guides the reader along the path for purposeful work which includes creating a purpose statement for your life and work, how to follow her Four Principles of Promotion, how to establish a personal board of directors, how to keep
enduring when unrecognized, unrewarded, and underpaid, and how to discover gifts in the most surprising of places.
Entertaining while presenting the information in a logical and easy to understand way, one must applaud Ms. Lewis for tackling such a difficult topic with such grace. Clearly enthusiastic and passionate to spread her knowledge to all ages of women, I would
highly recommend this book for everyone. Regardless of the gender, these issues Ms. Lewis discusses must be explored by the corporate world to help instill a better system. Therefore hats off to Ms. Lewis!
