old friend, who by chance needs some help, and J.D. offers a helping hand. Once again on the road, he finds himself traveling to New Orleans to meet up with his friend Roy. The adventure had begun for J.D. getting his fortune told, getting invited to a party, where he could have turned out to be the sacrificial human to appease the peoples' god. All this on his first day in town and before his meeting up with Roy, J.D. returned to his
motel room after finishing his report with the police. Finally getting hooked up with Roy
he finds out that the case Roy is working on involves royalty and a missing daughter,
stolen by a local pimp. Getting paid a lot of money to rescue the girl, they set about
discovering more about the suspect and his gang.
Nicely written suspense mysteries here, more than one wrapped up together blending
seamlessly and tying up any loose threads by the end of the story. It is a fairly fast
pace story with enough action to hold the readers attention.
