Danny Verdi is a male model at the height of his career, but contained in the package alongside with beauty comes shallowness and arrogance. As a handsome man he knows he can bed any male photographer that he chooses but then he creates problems for his agency when he decides never to work with them again. His life changes completely when he is sent over to Italy to work with the reclusive photographer, Frank Melina, as a last resort. How will he react when he comes face to face with Melina, a man scarred for life by a murderous act carried out by one of his previous assistants? And, can Melina’s experience in the bedroom eventually win over Danny’s cold heart?
Eye of the Beholder is a moving tale of passion, love and, ultimately, rejection. So many of us can relate to this situation and, unfortunately, the endings are never guaranteed in life. Author, D.J. Manly takes one possible scenario and creates an even paced story with plenty of steamy sex and high emotions.
The development of the characters is good and the novel gives a valuable insight into the competitive world of the male model. With more than just sexual excitement to be had, Eye of the Beholder is an inspirational book to own.
