Sara Myers woke with a start; something was amiss. Her mind filled with panic as she realized that someone was in her house. Torian le Fury could wait no longer to meet Sara. His future bride was in danger and he would let no one harm her or let anyone stand in his way of making her his own. He entered her house to talk with her but instead he succeeded in scaring her to death. Sara was strangely drawn to the sexy stranger who talked about Dark Ones and protecting her at all costs. She also thought he was a psychopath waiting to potentially hack her up into little pieces. When he started answering her thoughts and speaking to her telepathically, she began to take notice that he might be who he said he was.
It took Sara being attacked by a scout demon of the Dark ones to finally take mister tall dark, and handsome seriously when he revealed that he was a wizard and that she was a powerful witch. He was dismayed to find that her mother had died when she was young in an unexpected car crash. She had been unable to teach Sara about her ways or prepare her for her becoming. Torian knew he had to do whatever it took to educate and teach Sara about her powers and their ways. He vowed to save her, keep her safe and make her his. This book is imaginative, fresh, and intense. The non-stop action is real, and heart pounding. The story backdrops are as deep and fascinating as the characters. You will be riveted to every page as magic and romance unfold around you. This is an excellent read with an amazing plot and vivid storytelling.
