Human behavior frequently irks us! I’m positive Phillip Reed could write a part two, three, and four of Idiots ‘R Us. This is his straightforward telling of his pet peeves.
In reading his 131 instances of bothersome behavior, you’ll recognize some of these behaviors in others, and maybe see some of them in yourself. Phillip Reed hits on all aspects of life. Here are the people who are bringing unhappiness to their family, friends, co-workers, and strangers with their caustic behaviors. Mostly though, these people are damaging their lives and their relationships.
Each of the 131 annoyances is explained in one to four sentences. Topics range from mild annoyances to dangerous behaviors. On the milder side, we encounter people who are lacking in manners, and chewing with their mouths open. These same people fail to cover their mouths when they cough and sneeze. There are also people we know who have no sense of responsibility. Some parents have children at home, and these children are not being properly disciplined.
This lack of responsibility takes place at work too. Workers will be in a meeting, and yet they won’t listen to the information being presented to them. On the more extreme end, there are people who are putting others at risk. These are the people who have several sexual partners, and yet they are not practicing safe sex. This book will be a revelation for some, and entertainment for others. The rest will nod their heads in agreement with Phillip Reed’s picks for Idiots ‘R Us.
