Scorching Eden is the third book in T.C. McMullen’s Manipulated Evil Series.  The author immediately resolves the cliffhanger at the end of book two in the first few chapters, to my immense relief, only to tumult you onward into another series of misadventures for Kyle and Ravyn.  She must battle her half brother Rhynon who tortures her to try to convert her to his cause and she must fight to ensure the survival of the universe itself.  The alien worlds are surreal, the battle scenes are epic, and the action is non-stop.  I simply could not put this book down.  The best thing about this book beyond the fascinating characters was the surprise ending.  You really do not see this one coming.  This book is an excellent read and an awesome ending to a superb series.
