The characters Rhynon and Ravyn return in Scattered Souls.  This is Book Two and the anticipated sequel to The Unseen in the Manipulated Evil series.   

The plot deepens, as Rhynon lies wounded; he is baffled as to how Ravyn could be so blind to his plans.  He could not believe that she had really tried to kill him and he cannot understand why she will not join him. Kyle and Ravyn find themselves transported to a third world where they are petitioned for help.  They must try to stop the evil that has been set in motion before it is too late. 

I have the utmost praise for the work of T.C. McMullen.  I was so thrilled to be allowed to review the second book in this ongoing saga.  The plot is intricate and well developed integrating the old faces flawlessly with a new cast of characters.  They draw you down a winding path and you can see how the unfolding events challenge each character and instigate their personal growth.  It ends on a dramatic note that will leave you scrambling for the next book in the series.  Excellent drama and character studies as well as a wonderfully imaginative and inventive plot.
