On the tail end of summer, with temperatures reaching the 100s, Santa’s Helper brings the promise of cooler months and a bit of seasonal cheer.

When Noel Ford, Manhattan businessman, volunteers to adopt a letter written to Santa Claus, he gets more than he bargained for.  A small boy’s wish for his mother to find love again after her husband’s death is in the hands of Noel and he attempts to bring a little light into their world.  Attracted to Noel, but reluctant, Maura agrees to let him escort her around the city on Christmas Eve.  It just goes to show, when you give of yourself, you’re also blessed in return.

This is a wonderful novella.  Of course, I wasn’t surprised as to how much I’d like this story after reading Sunset Key by Cassidy Kent.  She weaves sweet romance with hot sex, characters that are as real as people you meet everyday, and a skill for the craft that puts her at the op of my must-read list.

Whether the sun is shining, or the first snow of winter is falling, this story will remain with you always.
