Two Washington, DC police detectives are forced to take on the power elite while investigating the brutal murder of a local journalist. As Detectives Jack Cassian and Sargent Darius Train find themselves getting closer to the truth, the danger rises. Before they know it, they have uncovered dark secrets about some of Washington’s most powerful players that will stop at nothing to keep them hidden.
The suspect list is large. With the victim’s mother being the head of the family multi-national corporation and Leighton Creay, the ex husband with a history of brutalizing his family, Jack and Darius have enough leads to keep them busy on their search for the killer. With the added chemistry between Jack and Sydney, the victim’s sister, the stakes continue to rise as she becomes the next target to silence.
This dramatic thriller is more than just a good read; it will leave you on the edge of your seat. Impossible to put down, this is non-stop action at its best. The interesting characters and perfect pacing only add to the wildly creative plot. Simply put, everything fit together. Mr. Hosp is a master at story telling and one must applaud him for this latest success.
