After being fired from her job as a personnel assistant, Freesia Daniels packs up and leaves Boston to return to sunny Key West. She might’ve been able to escape Boston, but she can’t escape the memory of Zachary Gray, childhood friend and first love. When the two meet again, they realize their feelings haven’t changed.
Ms. Kent delivers a fast paced, well-written novella full of love, enough heat to keep it sizzling, and second chances. The characters, crafted with raw emotions and the ability to handle their current situation when the past still looms in the present, tells me this author knows her subjects. I was pleased with this story as it spoke to me, personally, on so many levels. Sure, most things should be left in the past, but when a second chance is staring you in the face, as this story portrays, sometimes it’s best to just shut up and listen to your heart.
If you enjoy erotic romance this story is for you. You won’t be disappointed. I look forward to diving into more stories by this author.
